TaylorMade R9 Driver

So you are one of the traditionalists out there…golfers who hate the triangle-shaped drivers that look like snow shovels? Yeah? If you are, then you’ll definitely love the Taylormade R9 driver and its classic head shape.
However, don’t let the traditional look lead you to think that this driver isn’t for the modern golfer. When Taylormade Golf announced that they’ll be including their world-famous Movable Weight Technology along with a shaft…giving you the ability to control face angle, loft, and lie, I got all giddy and excited like a schoolgirl.
And guess what – this technology is to be found within the Taylormade R9 Driver. The shaft of this driver lets you tweak your setup positions. That’s 4 separate positions to be specific. What made this so crucial?
Come on! Let’s admit it – we golfers are very specific and meticulous. We are always in search for something that will fit into our needs and demands as golfers like a hand-glove. Unlike professionals, we mortals don’t have the tech geniuses of Taylormade to cut something that’s very specific for us – from our stance, natural shots, body position, our swing and everything in between.
But now that we have the Taylormade R9 driver – we don’t have to. It’s really great to see one of the BIGGEST names in golfing and golfing gears lending us a helping hand…making golfing easier and more fun for us mortals. It only took me a couple of afternoons hitting balls with this club before I got completely used to it. I’m particularly impressed with how the ball is carried with the Taylormade R9 driver.
Just in case you’re scratching your head…thinking how Taylormade created a driver that has 24 distinct and very easy to change setups, well, I don’t know. I could care less about it as long as the drivers pumped out by Taylormade are at par or even surpass the quality of the Taylormade R9 Driver.
