$470 – that’s my total expense for the Callaway FT-5 Neutral Driver along with the purest UST V2, and I must say that it was money well spent. I got more than I was expecting from the Callaway FT-5 Neutral Driver. I can compare its quality of the Titleist 13 Degree 906F equipped with the UST V2 regular flex. The Callaway FT 5 Neutral Driver comes with a different shaft…it has a huge kick but it’s equally consistent. If you’re a bogey golfer, the Callaway FT 5 Neutral Driver is yours for the taking. The shafts that come along with the golf driver are perfect. They give you long and straight drives…not to mention you’ll really love the sound this driver makes upon impact.

The only thing I didn’t like with the Callaway FT 5 Neutral driver is the fact that uses the .350 tip. I don’t know but I think the .335 option would be way better. As for the headcover, I don’t pay much attention to it. The interiors of mine felt a little rough. I think this will leave a couple of little scratches on the glass after a while. I already called Callaway about it and I believe they’re sending a new headcover in case it was found out that mine was a little defective. As always, this golf gears and driver company and manufacturer had a great customer service.

Overall, I must say that the Callaway FT-5 driver is a very beautiful club! It has great quality especially compared to other golf drivers out there. For one thing, some of the new Titleist drivers, although they perform really work, look a little odd. In my opinion, the Callaway FT-5 Neutral Driver is a little understated. Having a great setup at the address coupled with a set of top performing shafts and features, this golf driver could really use a little bit more appreciation from golfers around the globe.

Callaway Hyper X driver – this is the newest release from one of the most well known and respected golf driver manufacturers around – Callaway. And yet again, Callaway has shown us what kept them on top of the food chain with this golf driver. The Callaway Hyper X driver comes with the hyperbolic face technology, which is an essential for larger sweet spot! It’s not surprising why this golf driver was named Hyper X.

Coming with a 460 CC titanium head (which is pretty standard among golf drivers) along with the Fujikura Fit On 360 shaft plus .350 tip and other features (like the standard rubber grip from Callaway Golf as well as a 45.5 inch shaft), the Callaway Hyper X Driver gives you higher moment of inertia…coupled with the square look at the address, you’ll surely have more confidence hitting with the Callaway Hyper X Driver.

I once owned the original Hi-Bore driver from Callaway. I fell in love with it and it has stayed in my golf gear’s bag for 3 good years. There is one quibble i have with it though – the Hi-Bore driver just won’t launch the way I want it. I had to part ways with my Hi-Bore driver. I checked out the GolfSmith Vector monitor and the rest of the golf drivers out there. Unfortunately, most of them had the same launch and spin.

I had a look at the Nike 5000 SQ as well as Callaway Hyper X Driver. I liked both of them…BUT I finally settled with the Callaway Hyper X Driver, and I’m really glad that I did. All it took with the Callaway Hyper X driver was one range session. I got my natural draw shape with great ease. Not to mention the fades are just as simple to deal with. But what I really loved about the Callaway hyper Driver X is that I achieved a noticeable improvement in my launch. The shot patterns I achieved with it are very tight! Let’s not ramble any further, go buy this golf club…you are sure to love the Callaway Hyper X Driver like I did.

If you’re looking for a high quality driver that is designed mainly to increase your swing’s moment of inertia (known as MOI for short) and twisting the club’s head upon impact…especially during off center swings by moving the club’s weight and Center of Gravity (or CG for short) at the low and further back sections of the club, then the Titleist 907 D2 Driver is yours for the taking!

Aside from the fact that the Titleist 907 D2 Driver is composed with 3 piece head constructions, this driver comes with a new milled aluminum hosel as well as a high speed beta titanium face insert. Just in case you’re not aware, the high speed beta titanium face insert of this golf driver comes thinner at the top than it is at the bottom. That means you’ll get higher launch combined with lower spin rates. The end result? You get a longer driving distance! The D2 version of the Titleist 907 comes with its guns blazing – combining the features of the D1…AND more!

For traditional shape lovers, you’ll be pleased to know that this driver comes a more classic rounded shape…a far cry from the triangular shaped clubs that looks like frying pans. And it’s not just about the looks! The design of the Titleist 907 D2 Driver gives you more control – allowing you to work the ball left and right much better than the D1 would. If you’re someone who slices the ball often, this ball will perform better for you. The design of the Titleist 907 D2 driver is just as amazing. At the address of the club, you’re greeted with a classy shape that has been common with Titleist drivers. Along with that, you get to have a wide selection of stock shafts…AND each and everyone of these stock shafts perform excellently. On the forgiveness department, the Titleist 907 D2 driver performs excellently – across the face and you can always steer the ball in either ways.

Just like its predecessors and other golf driver’s in Titleist’s 909 golf drivers line up, the Titleist 909 D Comp driver comes with 460 cc. This high performance titanium golf driver from one of the best manufacturers in the planet comes with a full pear profile that helps greatly in producing high launch angles as well as mid-low spin and high Moment Of Inertia. This golf driver will appeal to those players who fell in love with the traditional pear shaped golf driver instead of the square and triangular head.

The chassis of the Titleist 909 D Comp driver has a tournament tested and proven profile that helps greatly in creating a deep and low center of gravity or CG…resulting in a greatly reduced spin, higher MOI, and of course – straighter and longer drives. I don’t know about you but that’s what an ideal golf driver should be.

Along with that, the Titleist 909 D Comp comes with a CNC milled face with thicker and centralized trapezoidal rings…this in turn is surrounded with thinner areas, which is the key factor for maximizing ball speed across the golf driver’s face.

When the Titleist 909 D Comp along with the other drivers from the same 909 line-up were released, it signaled Titleist’s very first use of the all-titanium blind bore hosel…securing the shaft of the club within the neck. With this feature, Titleist 909 D Comp is one of the most flexible yet stable golf drivers in the face of the planet. Along with that, there is a swing-weight screw located at the rear section of the 909 D Comp’s sole…allowing for any weight differences should you use a custom fitted shaft.

Just like any of the golf drivers from Titleist in the 909 lineup – like the Titleist D Comp driver and the Titleist 909 D2 driver, the 909 D3 driver has made a strong presence on the PGA Tour. And it’s not really surprising why.

You see, this Titleist model has a club head of 440 cc. It’s just 20 cc shy of the 460 cc maximum. Why? Simple – the Titleist 909 D3 driver has been painstakingly engineered to offer a mid-range launch angle combined with a low spin. Along with that, it blends a lot of elements and technologies found in many of the classic Titleist golf drivers…making extended drives piece of cake!

Unlike many of today’s golf drivers from TaylorMade, Callaway, Nike, Adams, etc. the club head and face is not square or triangle shaped…it looks traditional. It has the pear shape which has been the favorite of Titleist for the longest time. However, don’t think that this club is old fashioned! What’s inside the club makes the Titleist 909 D3 driver special and a must-have.

First, it is equipped with internal weights that keep the center of gravity or CG located low and deep in the club. This means you attain higher MOI or Moment Of Inertia, greatly reduced spin, while maximizing the distance. The club is definitely smaller, but that doesn’t mean it’s not forgiving like other recreational clubs out there. Instead, it means it is designed to help better and accomplished golfers to direct their shots where they want it to go.

Titleist golf clubs and drivers have been known for its workability and control…but let me tell you this – the Titleist 909 D3 driver’s workability, control, and overall performance is second to none even when compared to its brothers!

I’m not surprised why many deem the Titleist 909 line of golf drivers, including the 909 D3 driver, tournament-worthy. If you’re someone who loves going head to head against accomplished golfers, this driver should be in your arsenal!

The Titleist 909 D2 Driver – this golf driver from one of the most popular golf driver manufacturers – Titleist, has gained a lot of followers in the and many of them belong to the elite. Names like Adam Scott, Ben Crane, Zach Johnson – I’m sure they sound familiar to you. It’s of little wonder why Titleist has earned the reputation of creating the gears for the “better” player.

Among the golf drivers in the 909 line up, the Titleist 909 D2 really caught my attention. This is a 460 cc titanium driver that works excellently when it comes to promoting a mid launch combined with a low to mid spin. I’d say that this is meant for the accomplished player who’s looking for a golf driver that can deliver a lower launch – lower than what its brother…the 909 D Comp can create, while keeping the spin rates at safe and low levels.

Stronger players are always looking for the golf driver that has a great feel to it, allows them to have better control, while maximizing the distance with every shot. I think that explains why Titleist 909 D2 driver founds its way into the bags of many professional and strong golf players.

As for the setback, I think the only problem with this driver is that it delivers diminished benefits to the mid-handicapper and up. This limits the market of the Titleist 909 D2 driver…but I don’t think that’s our problem as players. I wouldn’t say that this will not benefit you if you’re a not-so-good player or if you’re just starting out in the game. However, if you are, you’re better off with a different driver – why not check out the releases of TaylorMade, Callaway, or Nike?

On the other hand, if you belong to the higher regions of the food chain so to speak, then by all means, grab the Titleist 909 D2 golf driver.

A golf tournament van in a box – that’s how I would describe the TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Limited Driver. Think about it – this driver allows you as a golfer to enjoy unbeatable golf driver customization experience. It’s like having your own TaylorMade Tour Staff professionals who’ll painstakingly tweak your TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Limited Driver to make it suit your needs and demands as a player.

In my opinion, clubs like this and unrivaled support to their customers has made TaylorMade the no. 1 driver on tour for more than 8 years now…since 2001! The TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Limited Driver kit comes in an excellently designed box which includes a newly-developed all-titanium club head.

This club head has 3 movable weight ports, 3 shafts – each having uniquely varying launch characteristics, 2 shaft-securing bolts, 40-inch torque wrench, nine movable weights, as well as one headcover. Whew! That’s a lot. Talk about being able to customize your way to success!

Let’s take a closer look at the tournament-proven and high-end shafts that comes with the TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Limited Driver…each designed to deliver distinct types of performance.

First, let’s take a look Fujikura Rombax shaft that has a standard shaft weight – 75 grams which a medium-firm tip. This shaft is designed down to the last detail to deliver low spin as well as a medium launch angle. Along with it, this shaft has been beefed-up with a Rombax technology which has been renowned for increasing stability as well as consistency in your shots.

Next, we have the Mitsubishi Diamana White Board – a lightweight shaft…having a weight of 65 grams, that has been designed to deliver unrivalled stability when the club hits the ball, reducing the spin while lowering the launch angle. And to top it off, this gives the club an excellent feel.

Last but not the least, we have the Matrix Ozik XCon – this shaft isn’t just lightweight…it’s ULTRALIGHT weighing at 55 grams and having a medium-soft tip. When it comes to delivering more kick through impact and promoting a high launch angle while lowering the spin rate, this is the shaft of your choice.

Dynamically combining advanced physics with power – in my opinion, this is what the TaylorMade Tour Burner driver is all about. The top crown of the Tour Burner brags a bigger and more powerful base which came to be known as Dual Crown technology. This allows you to take advantage of deeper and lower center of gravity…resulting to unparalleled forgiveness as well as control and tournament power.

All thanks to the advanced physics design – with the TaylorMade Tour Burner driver, hitting with this club will give you unshakable confidence you need to be a great player of the game. After all, the Dual Crown Technology, Inverted Cone Technology, as well as the SuperFast Technology all work together to give you the longest and straightest shots that you can make with a driver.

Heck! I’d go as far as saying that TaylorMade Tour Burner Driver is the epitome of power!

Just like the R7 CGB Max Driver, the Tour Burner golf driver comes with a triangular head shape. You may want a more traditional shaped driver…but get this – the driver’s head shape will be more appealing to you than the square heads that other drivers have. To give you an idea how it looks like, all 3 corners of the triangle are a little rounded…not to mention it sets up very nice at the address.

Along with that, TaylorMade added the FCT or Flight Control Technology to many of its golf clubs…including the TaylorMade R9 TP golf driver. FCT, by the way, gives you the ability to tweak the face angle, loft, as well as the lie angle of your club. In simpler terms, FCT will allow you to change the driver’s characteristics making it look better and perform better to suit your needs as a golfer – especially your swing.

Overall, I would say that the R9 TP driver from TaylorMade lived up to the hype. I think that the engineers behind TaylorMade hit the nail’s head hard with this golf driver!

Whenever we are discussing golf clubs, bringing up the FT-i Draw Driver created by the geniuses behind Callaway Golf is inevitable. After all, the creation and release of the Callaway FT-I draw driver represents a great leap…or should I say quantum leap in driver design.

The Callaway FT-I draw driver is the first of its kind that utilized the 4600 cc Complete Inertial Design. Yes, the engineers behind Callaway pushed the boundaries of shape and design to the limit. Along with that, this club represents precise positioning of the weight to the extreme corners of the club’s head. And the result? A very high moment of inertia or MOI, which means more power to your front swing…making the ball soar higher and further.

Unconvinced? Looking closer at the design and features of the Callaway FT-I draw driver will!

First the cup face – the Callaway FT-I draw driver uses the largest and hottest cup face that Callaway can offer – the CT/VFT Titanium Cup Face. With such a cup face, you get increased ball speed, distance combined with increased forgiveness.

Along with that, the Callaway FT-I comes with the carbon composite body. Just in case you don’t know, this material is lighter than titanium. Not only that, it has unparalleled flexibility, weight, and construction of the club.

Last but definitely not the least, the Callaway FT-I draw driver comes with the propriety Fusion Technology. Just what exactly is this technology about? Simple – it produces the maximum perimeter of weight…combined with the discretionary weights, you can position your club head precisely. When it comes to providing unsurpassed stability on shots even on off-center ones that results to optimum performance, in my opinion, nothing beats Callaway FT-I draw driver…all thanks to the Fusion Technology.

So is the FT-I draw driver for you? If you’re a player who can’t seem to get a straight shot on the ball…and if you’re willing to part with somewhere around $500-600 just to get those straight shots, you can never go wrong with the Callaway FT-I draw driver!
