There’s no doubt about it. This is the best driver I’ve hit with…so far. A couple of months back, I was hitting with a new TaylorMade R9 driver. First, let’s take a look at Cobra L5V Driver’s tried and tested technology – which is no other than the Dual Rhombus Face Insert. With this technology, this golf driver from Cobra came to be known as one of the most forgiving golf drivers off the tee. Featuring a club head that’s super-lightweight (all thanks to the carbon composite crown combined with sole inserts), hitting with the Cobra L5V Driver has never been as effortless.

Add the fact that the engineers of Cobra L5V Driver have found away to shift the CG or center of gravity to and fro (moving it to the ideal spot), you can now produce a higher and stronger launch with a lower spin. This helps greatly in maximizing distance and accuracy with every shot.

Additionally, this golf driver has been designed to suit different ball speed that players have. Thanks to the non-adjustable swing-weight screw, which is located in the sole…this aids greatly in balancing the club head perfectly with the shaft.

Now these features may be nice, but what I love most about it is the setting adjustments it has. Coming with a torque wrench which fits into the hosel screw port, you can easily adjust ball flight as well as change the shaft. Not to mention it has over 30 custom shaft options available!

And we haven’t even touched the tip of the iceberg by the way!

To cut the chase short, the Cobra L5V Driver is the golf driver of choice if you want to maximize your personal driving distance. And that’s all because to the adjustable settings. You can now adjust and customize your club to obtain ideal or optimum effects.

Looking at the Cobra 2008 F-Speed LD Driver, I was reminded of my Cleveland HiBore. The said driver has a fast back and a long tear (modified triangle) shape. However, instead of having one massive scoop taken out, the Cobra 2008 F Speed LD Driver has 2 large dimples (so to speak) located at the back of the club which points to the rear. So what do these rear â??dimples’ do? This structural design gives the Cobra 2008 F Speed LD Driver a low rear center of gravity. This gives your shots a higher and better launch as well as greater distance while increasing the moment of inertia. You might say that this driver borrowed a lot of technology from the FT Drivers from Callaway…and I would strongly agree.

There’s one thing about this driver though, which can be a weakness or strength. This driver creates a loud boom! Heck, it sounds like a coffee can. One thing is for sure though, everyone’s heads in the range will turn when you’re shooting with this golf driver. They may even know right away what club you are shooting with.

The sound this golf driver creates may be annoying for some. But on the other and brighter side of things, it can impress other people too, especially if you’re an expert golfer. You get to catch their attention effortlessly. Overall, the Cobra 2008 F Speed LD Driver is highly recommended.
