Callaway Hyper X driver – this is the newest release from one of the most well known and respected golf driver manufacturers around – Callaway. And yet again, Callaway has shown us what kept them on top of the food chain with this golf driver. The Callaway Hyper X driver comes with the hyperbolic face technology, which is an essential for larger sweet spot! It’s not surprising why this golf driver was named Hyper X.

Coming with a 460 CC titanium head (which is pretty standard among golf drivers) along with the Fujikura Fit On 360 shaft plus .350 tip and other features (like the standard rubber grip from Callaway Golf as well as a 45.5 inch shaft), the Callaway Hyper X Driver gives you higher moment of inertia…coupled with the square look at the address, you’ll surely have more confidence hitting with the Callaway Hyper X Driver.

I once owned the original Hi-Bore driver from Callaway. I fell in love with it and it has stayed in my golf gear’s bag for 3 good years. There is one quibble i have with it though – the Hi-Bore driver just won’t launch the way I want it. I had to part ways with my Hi-Bore driver. I checked out the GolfSmith Vector monitor and the rest of the golf drivers out there. Unfortunately, most of them had the same launch and spin.

I had a look at the Nike 5000 SQ as well as Callaway Hyper X Driver. I liked both of them…BUT I finally settled with the Callaway Hyper X Driver, and I’m really glad that I did. All it took with the Callaway Hyper X driver was one range session. I got my natural draw shape with great ease. Not to mention the fades are just as simple to deal with. But what I really loved about the Callaway hyper Driver X is that I achieved a noticeable improvement in my launch. The shot patterns I achieved with it are very tight! Let’s not ramble any further, go buy this golf club…you are sure to love the Callaway Hyper X Driver like I did.

$470 – that’s my total expense for the Callaway FT-5 Neutral Driver along with the purest UST V2, and I must say that it was money well spent. I got more than I was expecting from the Callaway FT-5 Neutral Driver. I can compare its quality of the Titleist 13 Degree 906F equipped with the UST V2 regular flex. The Callaway FT 5 Neutral Driver comes with a different shaft…it has a huge kick but it’s equally consistent. If you’re a bogey golfer, the Callaway FT 5 Neutral Driver is yours for the taking. The shafts that come along with the golf driver are perfect. They give you long and straight drives…not to mention you’ll really love the sound this driver makes upon impact.

The only thing I didn’t like with the Callaway FT 5 Neutral driver is the fact that uses the .350 tip. I don’t know but I think the .335 option would be way better. As for the headcover, I don’t pay much attention to it. The interiors of mine felt a little rough. I think this will leave a couple of little scratches on the glass after a while. I already called Callaway about it and I believe they’re sending a new headcover in case it was found out that mine was a little defective. As always, this golf gears and driver company and manufacturer had a great customer service.

Overall, I must say that the Callaway FT-5 driver is a very beautiful club! It has great quality especially compared to other golf drivers out there. For one thing, some of the new Titleist drivers, although they perform really work, look a little odd. In my opinion, the Callaway FT-5 Neutral Driver is a little understated. Having a great setup at the address coupled with a set of top performing shafts and features, this golf driver could really use a little bit more appreciation from golfers around the globe.

Whenever we are discussing golf clubs, bringing up the FT-i Draw Driver created by the geniuses behind Callaway Golf is inevitable. After all, the creation and release of the Callaway FT-I draw driver represents a great leap…or should I say quantum leap in driver design.

The Callaway FT-I draw driver is the first of its kind that utilized the 4600 cc Complete Inertial Design. Yes, the engineers behind Callaway pushed the boundaries of shape and design to the limit. Along with that, this club represents precise positioning of the weight to the extreme corners of the club’s head. And the result? A very high moment of inertia or MOI, which means more power to your front swing…making the ball soar higher and further.

Unconvinced? Looking closer at the design and features of the Callaway FT-I draw driver will!

First the cup face – the Callaway FT-I draw driver uses the largest and hottest cup face that Callaway can offer – the CT/VFT Titanium Cup Face. With such a cup face, you get increased ball speed, distance combined with increased forgiveness.

Along with that, the Callaway FT-I comes with the carbon composite body. Just in case you don’t know, this material is lighter than titanium. Not only that, it has unparalleled flexibility, weight, and construction of the club.

Last but definitely not the least, the Callaway FT-I draw driver comes with the propriety Fusion Technology. Just what exactly is this technology about? Simple – it produces the maximum perimeter of weight…combined with the discretionary weights, you can position your club head precisely. When it comes to providing unsurpassed stability on shots even on off-center ones that results to optimum performance, in my opinion, nothing beats Callaway FT-I draw driver…all thanks to the Fusion Technology.

So is the FT-I draw driver for you? If you’re a player who can’t seem to get a straight shot on the ball…and if you’re willing to part with somewhere around $500-600 just to get those straight shots, you can never go wrong with the Callaway FT-I draw driver!

Created back in 2007, the tournament quality and top performing Callaway FT-i Neutral Driver…this square faced golf driver is here and it’s yours for the taking. Just looking at the way this driver performs and looks, you can tell that the engineers and brains behind this golf driver really worked hard to create what came to be known as the straightest golf driver of 2007.

Just like the rest of the FT range, the Callaway FT-i Neutral Driver takes advantage of the remarkable Fusion Technology. So what is this Fusion Technology all about? You see, for a golf club to produce accurate and consistent shots, the center of gravity should be located at the ideal spot. That’s what the Callaway FT-I’s Fusion Technology does. It moves the weight away from the center of gravity horizontally or vertically to keep up with your demands as a golfer when it comes to consistency and accuracy.

Aside from that, it comes with a carbon composite body. If you think titanium is light enough, well…it won’t be once you use the Callaway FT-I Neutral driver. The said carbon composite body is way lighter than titanium. Not to mention it creates a discretionary mass…which is distributed to the extreme perimeter.

And the result?

Your shots down the fairway are more stable, longer, and best of all straighter. Not to mention the design and feel of the driver is very forgiving and it is something you’d easily get used to. I think this is important especially if you’re just starting out in the game.

There’s no doubt about it. If you want a golf driver that you could bring at the tourney (and not just for a Sunday casual golf match), if you want a golf driver that could provide the perfect trajectory, if you want a golf driver you can direct whichever way you want, then by all means grab the Callaway FT-I Neutral Driver.

Are you a big fan of the highly successful Callaway FT-5 draw driver? Yeah? Same here, I’m a huge fan of the FT-5 and it’s not really surprising why. Think about it, this driver has everything a golfer could ask for. It increases your drive distance by a mile. It produces a highly consistent golf flight with every shot…no fades whatsoever. And it’s effortless to hit.

Simply using this driver, increasing my driving distance by a good deal – no not 10 or 15 yards…BUT a whopping 25 to 30 yards. Once my driving distance was somewhere along the lines of 300 yards or so, but with the Callaway FT-5, it significantly increased to 320 and more!

However, if you’re a proud owner of the Callaway FT-5 driver, get this – it’s about time to get a replacement. Why? Simply because the Callaway FT-9 Draw Driver is here! With the upgraded version of the FT-5 (so to speak), creative golfers can now gain extra distance from the tee…and that’s without the risk of losing any workability. As we all know, this is very crucial when it comes to shaping your shots.

Debuting at the PGA European Tour, the Callaway FT-9 draw driver has proven its worth and capabilities long before the public was able to use it. It’s with this golf driver that Callaway has introduced the Hyperbolic Face Shaping. This allows engineers and brains behind Callaway’s drivers to use high quality performance materials an design principles that are commonly found in aircraft and performance cars.

For example, the Fusion Technology which empowers all FT golf drivers allows Callaway drivers, especially the FT-9 draw driver, to create maximum perimeter weight. This makes the FT-9 a very forgiving golf club. Additionally, it has weights to have the FT-9’s center of gravity located on the ideal location for delivering the perfect ball flight.

Are you looking for a golf driver that wouldn’t fade every time you hit with it? If you answered yes, I feel you. You see, I was looking for the same type of golf driver a couple of months back. I was hitting with my Titleist 905. While a good driver, I decided I needed something better when it comes to consistency.

That’s when I switched to the Callaway FT-5 golf driver. So how did this driver’s consistency fare? Three words – it’s simply amazing! Kidding and exaggeration aside, hitting with the Callaway FT-5 golf driver is effortless. I can drive the ball where I want it to go. Some are saying that it’s not the easiest club to hit with…and that you need to put a good swing to make the ball fly. However, as far as my experience and opinion is concerned, I never had any problems with the Callaway FT-5 driver.

I played several rounds with the Callaway FT-5 driver. And after a couple of rounds, I have noticed a significant and dramatic increase in my driving distance. Best of all, this one is very accurate as well as forgiving. That’s something we golfing mortals need!

Matter of fact, by just using this driver, I was able to increase my driving distance by 25-30 yards. Usually, my driving distance averages about 290-300 yards. But with the Callaway FT-5 draw driver, I’m now averaging 320 yards per drive. Not bad as a bonus heh! This is definitely recommended for any golfer, even to someone who has a 20 handicap.

The feel – it’s simply amazing!

Effortless to hit with, increases your drive dramatically, produces a consistent ball flight – what more can you ask for in a golf driver? Give the Callaway FT-5 Draw Driver a shot. Whether you’re a starting or veteran golfer, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with this quality driver from one of the leading golf driver manufacturers around – Callaway.

It doesn’t matter if you’re one of the golf traditionalists who love the classic head for their clubs or if you’re in love with the square-headed drivers, the Callaway FT-iQ Driver is definitely a driver that you can’t help but lay your eyes and hands on.

The Callaway FT-iQ Driver stands proudly with sleek and sporty lines. And just in case you don’t know, the brains and engineers behind this Callaway driver got their inspiration from the back end of a Lamborghini sports car. If you’re a huge car enthusiast, you’d definitely agree that the design of a Lamborghini sports car is ABSOLUTELY eye catching…and it will make you drool!

Looking at it, the club’s head has lesser squat and square than the older Callaway FT drivers while retaining the 460cc volume. Not to mention it looks more athletic and the address. This comes in 2 models – the ordinary one and the tour model. The tour model is designed in a way that it sits squarely between your toes…allowing you to set it up nicely behind the ball and it’s always ready for action.

The engineers who designed the Callaway FT-iQ driver claim that this driver has an elongated depth dimensions compared to the previous releases of Callaway in the FTi series. So what does it bring to the table? A lot, but I think it’s sufficient to say that this increases the moment of inertia or MOI…delivering 35% tighter shot dispersion. You can liken it to hitting a fairway that has the width of a cart path.

So how’s my first experience with the Callaway FT-iQ driver? Good as expected. However, I would like to take note of one thing – there is a huge difference when it comes to the sound when compared to its older brothers. Along with that, it delivers a more satisfying thwack off the club’s face.

Any golfer would agree that the impact sound is very crucial to one’s game. The Callaway FT-iQ Driver nails this down on the head with the help of its carbon composite chassis – which is prone both to deadening feel and sound.

Known for its nickname – “The Shot Maker”, Callaway’s FT-9 driver is definitely a must-have in your golf bag. The ability of the club makes the lofty title or nickname it earned more than well deserved. If you are the type of golfer who needs more freedom to tweak their shots the way they want it without sacrificing the distance, then this driver is yours for the taking.

This driver for Callaway can challenge any other club – may it be from TaylorMade, Nike, etc. when it comes to accuracy in shot direction as well as distance.

Just like most of the drivers in the FT series, the 2009 model if Callaway FT-9 takes advantage of the latest carbon technologies which flawlessly combine titanium and carbon composite. And the end result? The Callaway FT-9 gets optimal distribution of both weight and gravity. This driver comes with its gun’s blazing with 2 weighing systems. These allow you to adjust the driver to suit your needs and wants as a golfer.

Draw and neutral – these are the 2 options or settings that are available in Callaway FT-9. The former – draw setting, is used to reduce the slices and fades. On the other hand, neutral setting is more for advanced golfers…it gives them the power to steer their shots towards the target more accurately.

Regardless of the setting you choose, this driver from Callaway is a great driver that provides massive MOI boost. And you can see that very clearly when you realize how forgiving the club is. When I used it, my shots – that were off center felt like perfectly centered shots, while the hyperbolic shape of the driver is good enough to correct the player’s mistakes.

Power and distance – these are what you get when you use the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Draw Driver. With its head covered with titanium, the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Draw Driver is designed to deliver the power your drives need to get the most out of them. Along with that, this driver comes with sheer brute force – a dynamic duo indeed!

Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Draw Driver uses the new Edge technology, which is used for clubs to deliver increased MOI as well as CG. This means you can go for long, penetrating ball flights, and you can shape the shots in a way that you like or require. The same edge technology gave the Diablo Draw a unique shape – allowing the designers to move the weight across the driver’s head. And if that’s not enough, this design helps the Diablo Draw produce an even more powerful impact by closing the club face right before it hits.

Using Callaway’s new Edge technology the club delivers a high MOI and the CG is located especially to suit the Draw or Neutral models to produce long, penetrating flight with the shot shape you require. Edge technology gives the Diablo a unique shaping that has let the designers move the weight across the clubhead and helps close the clubface at impact to help encourage ever more powerful impact.

Okay, enough of these features. So what did the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Draw Driver bring to help me increase my play? Let’s take a look…

You see, I once owned an MD Superstrong EQL Sq Driver. Unfortunately, this driver isn’t so cooperative with me. I consistently sliced with it. Well, I wasn’t sure if this is because of my swing or if it’s my driver that has the problem. To know the answer I was forced to search for a new driver. And after a long and intense search, I came across the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Draw.

And I’m glad that I chose this driver! Everything has changed since then. My accuracy? Well, it has approved by twenty fold. My distance? I can say the same thing. I’m not a huge fan of the hype and reviews worshipping today’s golf drivers, kits, and everything in between.

But with the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Draw Driver, I must say I’m VERY impressed!

Just like its older brothers, Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Neutral is an all-titanium driver that uses a distinct hyperbolic cupface. This cupface comes with a variable thickness, which means this driver is meant to optimize and even correct those off center shots that we golfing mortals are so prone to!

With that in mind, Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Neutral is definitely one of the straightest new drivers that you’ll ever lay your eyes and hands on this year of 2009. However, if the hyperbolic cupface of Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Neutral doesn’t cut it for you and you still keep making those ugly off-center shots, then don’t worry.

The head of the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Neutral combines 3 sheets of titanium that comes along with a 0.68 mm crown. What does this crown do? It helps you free weight for use inside an internal chip of the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Neutral’s sole.

Again, just like its brothers, this driver from Callaway comes with its gun’s blazing – the new Edge Technology. This technology, which influences the driver’s design, provides massively increased MOI and optimized CG, which is perfect for draw and neutral models.

So what do we get out of that?

Here’s what – you lay your hands on the driver – Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Neutral, that can greatly help you make long, penetrating ball flights, while giving your shot the flexibility it needs to shape it in a way that you like and need. This makes it an excellent driver for the recreational player.

Personally, Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Neutral’s Aldila DVS shaft is an excellent choice made by Callaway. This shaft gives the said driver a softer tip – giving the ball an extra speed. All in all, I’m hands down satisfied with Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Neutral – it’s the driver that you need to create the straightest and longest shots or drives you’ll ever make as a recreational player.
